Bee Pendant Diamond Set

A beautiful design project has just left my studio workshop.

The brief was to use inherited rings to make a very special piece.

The customer had a clear design objective, not always the case and either way I never mind which, but this was brought to me to make to their specifications.

I got the AI images to work from the customer which I adjusted to match the diamond sizes.

Designing is about knowing and being able to keep the piece sturdy enough but still hollow and also the whole pendant not too big, not too weighty- a bit “goldilocks”.

The cavity of the piece needed to contain her mums ashes so I took some time making this small yet sturdy beautiful bee pendant with white and yellow gold wings, the body was chased and forged in yellow gold set with two main diamonds complete with eyes and antenna.

We added a lovely trace chain with trigger clasp, finished in two lengths so the pendant can be worn comfortably with different necklines.

Im often terribly sad to see these fly away but know I must part with them!

I always look forward to new pieces and challenges 🐝
