Tsavorite Garnet & Diamond Ring
My latest piece to leave the workshop. These high grade heart shaped Tsavorite Garnet gems looked truly magnificent mounted into this ring. The stones were carefully selected for their chrome green intense colour and set into high carat yellow gold so they really catch the eye and suit the wearers skin tone perfectly. I wanted to make it sparkle so added a central diamond, I needed to be careful not to part the hearts or clover leaves too far apart so balance was key in the d

❣️ Queen of Hearts Pendant ❣️
The first of a pieces Ive been working on and remodelling and making in Silver. A beautiful heartfelt gift of appreciation and love. Making the setting I kept thinking of the Quern of Hearts and subsequently this went into the design. I do like making things individually, handmade and special to the giver and receiver of the piece alike. Claw like prongs finish it off giving it a modern edge. Queen of Hearts Pendant

✨Wedding Bands & Baguettes✨
A collection of gold was brought to me, some solid chains a ring etc quite a large amount to be made into wedding bands. They both knew the style they wanted so I set about sourcing Baguette Diamonds to fit their brief. Both linear and stylish I forged them up by hand from the melted gold making sure little was lost and the resulting bands are rather wonderful. Gold then was used in part to pay for the pieces which I am happy to do, these luxurious bands are now about to flyi

Classical Cluster ring remodelling
The last piece in my news tab was a beautiful engagement ring using gold from the clients original cluster which I remodelled adding a new setting into an engagement ring. Combining family history with the newness of a modern setting and a stunning diamond. Worn down slightly from years of wear, the remaining cluster white gold element and diamonds we kept aside to add to another well loved piece to preserve the sentiment and stones of both into one new ring adding a touch m

An Engagement Ring with added meaning ✨
This beautiful piece left recently awaiting a trip and a romantic proposal. It contains in part family gold from a loving mums ring gifted to making this special piece. We took the 18ct yellow gold shank and a cast mount to house this carefully selected certificated lab diamond and added a touch more gold to make a perfectly balanced ring. Freshly hallmarked & beautifully set & polished it flew off for a trip of a lifetime taking family history with it. ✨

🌘✨Silver Ring Comissions✨🌒
A very talented lady came to me to commission rings for her and her daughter for their birthdays. She spends her time teaching and helping others and it’s always an honour to be asked to make pieces for her collection. The first ring a Peridot stacker ring planished and sat proud, a fabulous cut and colour to sit alongside several others. The second a Moonstone chosen out of a selection for its adularescence and size to sit perfectly on an elegant finger with an undulating sh

💎Magnificent Brooch Split for Sisters 💎
Sometimes jewellery can take your breath away. This old mine cut Diamond and Pearl Brooch did just that. A very beautiful and magnificent piece as a brooch, but the fear of loosing it whilst it proudly adorned a scarf was high - plus it was left for two people, that meant it was time to split it down into more wearable less scary pieces. brooches are wonderful things but this was heavy for fabric and two sisters sharing it whilst living miles apart suggested that it wasn't cu

Gents Diamond Wedding Band
This was the final piece in a trilogy using a beloved mothers ring studded with very unusually cut Square Diamonds combined with the couples original engagement and wedding bands. Some - not all the stones in mums ring had corners cut down, girdles brought in and really very unusually deep stones, we ascertained the setter and myself, that these were once in fact Princess (square) cuts which had perhaps lost corners and were then cut down to make into smaller stones, the lap

Fun Silver Gifts & Updating Pieces
I very rarely have time to photographically document everything I make, alter, repair, revamp, remodel and adapt but Im very fortunate to have customers come back time and again for services and Im eternally grateful for that. Here are a couple of fun gifts I made for friends. The first reclaimed metal from a bangle made into fun shapes, rustic and light in weight due to the technique of metal folding I learnt last year on a fabulous course made to suit her style and the seco

Wedding Rings and Gifted Things
Just a few pieces from recent weeks with wedding season upon us I have the wonderful job of making betrothal rings not just the bespoke engagement and the lovely thing about it is I normally get heaps of time in advance to factor in making due thankfully to having a fairly long waiting list but now and again I do get the odd fast track request, both I can usually accommodate happily. Here a beautiful gents wedding band from family gold engraved with the name of the grandfathe

Transform to Taste
We all have changing tastes and styles, sometimes our jewellery just needs adapting to fit and suit our evolving lifestlyes or perhaps it requires adaption to preserve integrity and keep pieces going into the future, safely and securely. This rather splendid pear cluster ring was quite a large piece to wear so the client wished for a beautiful pendant adding a complimenting 18 carat chain with my usual extra jump ring ends to allow the wearer to enjoy the piece with any nec

✨Stylish Signet ✨
Three bequeathed great grandfather and grandfathers gold rings and a brief to make one signet for a young man to carry forward with him through life. The sides to be owl like by design and the top to carry his initials. Such an enjoyable brief to get my design teeth into. Casting is an option using customers gold but we need about 40% extra to get the pour this is then handed back so to cut out this process and the need for extra gold, with a careful design in place I set abo

Reimagining pieces to suit your style ✨💜✨
A lovely set of Amethysts pieces and a solitary pear shaped stone found their way to me. The owner and I chatted before I embarked upon reimagining these into couple of new pieces using the stones, the gold was to be used as part payment. The lady in question suited Silver and we wanted something fluid and versatile for the wrist and something a bit special for the pear drop Amethyst as a neckpiece to take in the little diamonds from the Amethyst ring. I made this lovely brac

Stunning Spinel, Diamond, Gold & Platinum Ring - Ruby & Diamonds into Red Gold Pendant
A number of pieces were brought to me to transform along with a fantastic 2 carat Spinel, steely purple aubergine mauve a mesmerising colour. We decided upon flanking this exquisite Spinel with her mums eternity ring Diamonds and reflecting the colour of this stone in her preferred platinum. Set across the finger this really did suit her along with the colour of the stone and Platinum which complimented it so well. The contrasting gold of her mother’s ring used to house her D

✨Toi et Moi Eternity ✨
The brief, to take a pair of baguette earrings and combine them into an eternity ring. What a splendid idea, not mine sadly, the customer had a beautiful baguette diamond (rectangular) engagement ring and a very stylish cross over wedding band sat beside it. She arrived in my studio with her inked sketch said thats what I want and gave me some earrings and a few bits of gold to produce the piece. By keeping the engagement ring for a day I can make sure the new eternity and o

Engagement and Wedding Rings, Merging Heirloom & Original Vows
The brief was to take the original wedding and engagement rings and utilise the central stone and incorporate his mother’s dress ring consisting of 30 stones into a new wedding and engagement ring set. The rings were all Rhodium plated and unhallmarked but with a little burring it became clear mums ring was in fact 18ct yellow gold. The stones under a loop looked unusually cut and upon dismantle some had one corner off, others two, three and some four. The girdle of the stone

✨Break from the norm ✨
Customers rich gold and old mine cut Diamonds & Rubies, a design nod to her heritage. One of the many distinct differences between having jewellery commissioned and choosing from an existing catalogue of ready made pieces is being able to incorporate family heirlooms, to use what you already have, not only perhaps precious in sentiment but now more than ever - incredibly financially valuable. Having something bespoke means every detail is made to measure. Your taste, your bri

Diamond Earrings and an Opal Ring ✨
Two recent remodels. From the Bee pendant two weeks ago in my news feed we decided at the same time to take 4 more diamonds from inherited rings and make a double drop stud. They look simply stunning on and a great use of these sentimental rocks from mums pieces simply by adding cast setting units and adding pins and always super good quality butterflies we have an every day into evening special pair of studs partly paid for with metal from the rings - a great way to use what

Silver pieces made to order
I often get asked to set customers stones into jewellery so they are wearable, something I really enjoy is getting the balance right, it is all part of a bespoke design process. Here a second piece of possibly Nephrite Jade added to the collection Ive made for this customer. An elegant long piece perfect for a ring to match the pendant just back so I can send both off for Hallmarking together which keeps the cost down. Here is a lovely simple disk pendant on a work hardened w

Bee Pendant Diamond Set
A beautiful design project has just left my studio workshop. The brief was to use inherited rings to make a very special piece. The customer had a clear design objective, not always the case and either way I never mind which, but this was brought to me to make to their specifications. I got the AI images to work from the customer which I adjusted to match the diamond sizes. Designing is about knowing and being able to keep the piece sturdy enough but still hollow and also the
