Diamond Earrings and an Opal Ring ✨
Two recent remodels. From the Bee pendant two weeks ago in my news feed we decided at the same time to take 4 more diamonds from inherited rings and make a double drop stud. They look simply stunning on and a great use of these sentimental rocks from mums pieces simply by adding cast setting units and adding pins and always super good quality butterflies we have an every day into evening special pair of studs partly paid for with metal from the rings - a great way to use what

Silver pieces made to order
I often get asked to set customers stones into jewellery so they are wearable, something I really enjoy is getting the balance right, it is all part of a bespoke design process. Here a second piece of possibly Nephrite Jade added to the collection Ive made for this customer. An elegant long piece perfect for a ring to match the pendant just back so I can send both off for Hallmarking together which keeps the cost down. Here is a lovely simple disk pendant on a work hardened w

Bee Pendant Diamond Set
A beautiful design project has just left my studio workshop. The brief was to use inherited rings to make a very special piece. The customer had a clear design objective, not always the case and either way I never mind which, but this was brought to me to make to their specifications. I got the AI images to work from the customer which I adjusted to match the diamond sizes. Designing is about knowing and being able to keep the piece sturdy enough but still hollow and also the

Adding Diamonds to existing Wedding Ring ✨
I hand forged this substantial ring to sit proudly next to the engagement ring allowing space for a large stone to sit not over shadowing the bands sentinental inherited stones but it was decided to add the biggest and deepest Old Cut Diamond to the middle and fortunately from the Girdle to the Crown or setting edge to the top table was really deep not the Girdle to the Culet so we had plenty of room to set the final stone. The customer will have a third band to keep the enga

A Life in Pictures Gents Bangle
A very dear old mate of mine wanted a bangle showing his hobbies, life and interests. He gave me a list of things it should include and being a bit of a tall glass of water he wanted something fairly sturdy. Sadly he couldn’t go ahead after all, life has other ideas for us sometimes so I put it to one side. I was moved about a bit as a kid. Quite a few different schools and back in that day I spent a great deal of my time chatting on the phone. I doodled absentmindedly whilst

Casket Pendant with a Rose cut Trillion Labradorite
A beautiful keepsake commission for a lovely daughter, an ashes casket sealed pendant. We spoke about her mum at length to make something reminiscent of her and we wanted an every day into evening piece so a chain was picked and multiple length adjustments added so this, like much of what I make it becomes versatile to wear for different necklines, seasons and occasions. The colour of this stone and its characteristics change with the light and angle at which it is viewed. Qu

Moonstone Torque Casket Bangle
A lovely idea for a daughter to carry her mother’s ashes. A matching pair of moonstones pear shaped or tear drop stones were selected for their opaque qualities with such beautiful adularescence, the perfect stone for the brief. I was asked to casket her mums ashes so they were visible and under the hue of the moon so a perfect stone for this job. I decided to add Silver “sparkles” to represent her mums personality. Carefully encased in Sterling Silver cap ends with a planish

✨Platinum ring for Precious Old Cuts ✨
A dearly loved ring came in for a remodel, a delicate Platinum topped handmade 5 Old Cut Diamond ring in what was left of a very well worn 18ct yellow gold mount, beautifully crafted but now so frail after decades of daily wear - a meaningful piece handed down. The brief was simple to re-home grandmothers Diamonds in a clean cut Platinum flush set band. I tapered it to follow the line if the stones to be wearable and solid yet elegant and carefully set once more for every day

Solitaire Diamond Update with Pendant add.
Sometimes wonderful rings worn by our parents lasting half a century or more need a bit of attention and repair. It’s nice at this point with very sentimental inherited pieces to carry the metal and stones forward putting our design style preferences into the mix. Making it fit us, modern, wearable and styled to suit precisely. This is what bespoke remodelling is all about, considering lifestyles, design preferences, sizes of fingers, necklines, what suits what doesn’t, these

Renovations and remodelling Earrings
My work varies so much, sometimes its renovation and rebuilding elements or total pieces, often using existing metal, melting it with new gold for added weight, structure, design elements and tweaks for longevity. Renovation A new head and two new diamonds for this sweet little platinum four diamond headed ring expertly set to last another century. Next the gift A three tier drop white gold pair of earrings set with little diamonds were donated by a lovely mum to make a pair

A festive time of rest ✨
Saying that I thought Id take the end of the year to make something Id always wanted to try. I made myself a gold trace and silver tapered curb chain. With over 150 handmade links all individually formed and soldered from scrap metal, just a little project to see the year out. With orders picked up and the workshop swept up I have finished for 2025. I thank everyone who has followed me on any social media platform, read a post, liked a reel and come to me for bespoke jeweller

🎁 Gifts of Love
A Ruby Anniversary gift. So much thought and care went into these beautiful elegant Ruby drops from careful stone selection to exacting bar & drop measurements. This is the wonderful thing about commissioning Jewellery - it really is incredibly personal and can be very involved. I carefully styled them based on a side profile ear lobe picture. I hope they are as lovingly received as they were commissioned, I have no doubt as the stones really are spectacular and the design t

Russian Wedding Band Commission ✨
My first challenge with this remodel was to part an existing piece. It was made up of interlocking sections to create a spring like middle section all 79 remaining diamonds were pave set and needed removing from their housing and rhodium plating removed. Rhodium is used historically plating wise to make white gold look more like platinum, its extremely hard and doesn’t melt well so it was painstaking work to remove this in itself so white gold is often scrapped and swapped fo

Hand Forged Wedding Band with Sentimental Old Cut Diamonds and family Gold
A fabulous way to bring heirlooms forward and keep forever, beautiful rings, showing the wear of the years now combined into one to house precious old cut diamonds, the weighty band depth was needed to allow for the iceberg-esk deceptively deep old cuts in order to be sucessfully star prong set without the culet (bottom point) touching the finger. The customer has a sizeable engagement ring which will sit over the middle top and not over shadow these beauties flanking the sid

✨Classic Vintage Style Ring ✨
The brief - to recreate the style often seen of the grain or pavé setting across the finger, a tapering design central section with leaf like edging. Similar styled vintage rings are widely available to purchase second hand, they are often very delicate in stature, cast units for multiple production making the ring incredibly lightweight with not always the best stones nor a very big spread across the finger, they are often in small sizes that for anyone with a larger than ti

Diamond and Opal remodelling
The original Opal cluster ring was owned by someone very loved, it was an important inherited piece. The brief was to transform the jewellery into something reflective of present style and to be everyday wearable and versatile. The round cluster of diamonds were plentiful enough to three quarter cover a band in the customers size and the Opal worked well set in Silver with the original shoulder baguette Diamonds flush set either side, initial thoughts of putting them into the

Padparadscha Sapphire Ring
One of my all time fave stones. A customer had some bought by her sister whilst on travels and decided to have a bracelet transformed into a ring to house her favourite gem. Not all melt ups are the same. Sometimes they are tricky and it is very much dependent on how the original item was manufactured as to the finished melt up to work from. You have to carefully work this out and the metal needed to achieve a desired design result. I added a touch of gold to get the depth n
