I often get asked to set customers stones into jewellery so they are wearable, something I really enjoy is getting the balance right, it is all part of a bespoke design process.
Here a second piece of possibly Nephrite Jade added to the collection Ive made for this customer.
An elegant long piece perfect for a ring to match the pendant just back so I can send both off for Hallmarking together which keeps the cost down.
Here is a lovely simple disk pendant on a work hardened wire both hallmarked in Sterling Silver.
Really worked very well it was a replacement gift as the original was in base metal and it was so loved mum wanted me to make a replica in Silver.
Next a customers spoon ring.
It started life as a rather lovely piece of flat-wear but got turned into a ring with a small gemstone in it, my customer wanted this most unusual piece of rock added to it so I made a setting that followed the curvature and depth of the piece, added claws set the stone and hey presto here we have a chunky cool ring.
I really like the feel of it and made the claws to suit the piece.
Just a few Silver Jewels Ive had the pleasure to work on recently.
Last but not least this my Maharaja Ring made from reclaimed metal and chain - a bit of fun finished with an Emerald set at the head.
It glides and spills beautifully down the finger quite a cool ring if you like to make an entrance at a party!
DM if you would like to buy it!
Happy Weekend.
